Gent Baptist Church is a conservative, King James Version only, Bible believing Independent Fundamental Baptist Church; with a heart for Gent Belgium. We are located just outside of the center of Gent, in the community of Mariakerke. Our church is near the center of Mariakerke just off of Brugsesteenweg, on Elfnovemberstraat. We are easily accessible by bus, with busses 3, 9, 9b, and 68 all stopping near our building. For those coming by car, there is plenty of street parking around the building, and several parking lots left open at local businesses that are closed on Sunday. Parking is always free in the neighborhood of the church. Those coming by train can take bus 3 directly from Gent-Dampoort station to the church or bus 9 from Gent-Sint-Pieters station.

All of our services are in English, with translation to Romanian and French-Lingala on Sundays and Wednesdays; however all languages and peoples are welcome, we do our best to accommodate and can typically translate in many other languages when necessary. In the short time we have been open we have had the privilege of entertaining people from nearly 100 different countries.

We have three Bible studies each week open to the entire church: Sunday morning, Sunday midday, and Wednesday evening. During the Sunday morning service we offer a children's church, making the service more convenient for parents with younger children. We also offer a nursery for babies, it is available for use in every service.

​

We have multiple evangelism programs to spread the gospel in the city of Gent every week. During the week we  have people who go door knocking to share the gospel. On Saturday we take a group to the Korenmarkt to give out gospel tracts and preach on the street. Each year we are able to give out up to 60,000  gospel tracts, and knock on numerous doors; in order to do our best to share the gospel.
